 BRAND NEW OLD SCHOOL Flava Squad UK was formed in April 2006 after Sammy's first meeting with B-Boy Leanski from Floorlords, Flava Squad Boston USA. The Flava Squad Worldwide family has now been extended further to the UK. Flava Squad is not just a crew, it is a Hip-Hop movement. Taking Hip-Hop back to it's original form, hence the motto BRAND NEW OLD SCHOOL. Future Flava, led by Lammy is a crew of young b-boys/girls who are the future of Flava Squad. They has their first battle in June, where they won and became "Young Guns" Champions. Funky Flava are the lockers and poppers of the Flava Squad movement. Lockers Savvi-D and BabyUnit won the UK Hip-Hop Championships' Lockin' battle. They represented the UK at the World Hip-Hop Battle in Las Vegas this August. Flava Squad are the UK Hip-Hop Championships' winning B-Boy crew who have just come back from reppin the UK at the World B-Boy Battle in Las Vegas. They got through the showcase round and then battled Knuckle Head Zoo. Although they were beaten by the Las Vegas crew, it was a tight battle! |
